UNB - Men's Basketball

Up and down weekend for the team over the weekend. Got a big win friday night over UPEI. After a slow start the boys picked it up and we held the lead for most of the game. We almost lost a 12 points lead but we were able to hold off the Panthers and grab a huge 4pts in the standings. After the Friday night game we were in a 5 way tie for 2nd place in the league with a total of 12pts. Saturday was a disappointing game for us, with a big crowed that showed up we had a really bad second half (especially on transition defense) and ended up losing by 30 points to Acadia. After the weekend we are in a tied in the standings for the final playoff spot with SMU. We head to PEI on friday for another big 4pts game which will be our only game of the weekend.
